Years ago, I was sitting on the floor of a DC airport shaking and in tears with a blood pressure of 145/90 — while three doctors told me it was just depression.
I wasn't just depressed. I was menopausal, and nobody in the room knew it. Including me.
I went from that airport floor to becoming a natural bodybuilding competitor at the age of 58 — competing in five categories in Las Vegas.
First place in Bikini Debut, Masters 50+ and Masters 40+. Second place in Masters 35+ and the Open.
Second in the Open was the pro qualifier. One place away. Which is exactly why I'm going after my pro card now.
Not because I pushed harder, hustled or stressed myself out trying to look a certain way. It was because I dedicated myself to learning the new rules.
At 58
- 1stMasters 50+
- 1stMasters 40+
- 1stDebut
- 2ndMasters 35+
- 2ndBikini Open
And now, it's my mission to bring it to you.
